Good bits:Rare 2 speed auto za50 motor with matching engine and frame numbersAll original parts included with sale including puch stamped original exhaust, currently has a techno boss exhaust fitted which increased the top speed to a staggering 38mph!Original plastic side panels included but missing a couple of the fastening so have retrofitted for show in one of the pictures, replacement screw fittings available from ypvspares websiteLow mileage of 4122 which would appear to back up against MOT history on direct gov website although being an old bike I cannot 100% confirm this although it does have the original dealer sticker still in place on the headlamp unit that would suggest it is the original unmessed with unit.Bike is completely unmolested and completely originalV5 here in my name along with the original steering lock key.The not so good bits:The bike will need work if the decision is made to get her up and running and use her as she is, the obvious parts that will need repair are the following- the thread has gone in the right hand pedal arm resulting in the pedal falling out, it is the original pedal so would be a shame to replace with aftermarket, a replacement pedal arm or getting original arm helecoiled would be the best option - there is surface rust all over the frame although it is solid, it could be cleaned up with some elbow grease to make it look more presentable or it could be completely stripped and repainted, personally I like the 'patina' look- the original vinyl on the seat has split and is currently being held together with black electrical tape so either a recover or replacement is due.- There is rust on all chrome parts including wheels, bars, rear rack etc. She was used regularly for fun trips to town and vintage rallies until her MOT expired in May 2015.
Pulled her out of the garage the other day after a couple of years laid up, put some fresh fuel and 2 stroke in her and she fired up 3rd kick. Engine is a ZA50, I have yet to come across another for sale in the the UK. Rare example with matching engine and frame numbers.
